37.  Local aerodrome regulations

Only equipment equipped with an operational radio (powered aircraft, sailplanes, MOVITs, ULs, SES equipment, paragliders, paramotor gliders, hot air balloons) may participate in the flight operation. If the aircraft is equipped with a transponder, its use during flight is mandatory.
Whenever possible, the use of runway 24 should be encouraged in order to reduce noise exposure. If this is not possible, in the case of heading 06, aim for the northern turn, preferably before Lívia-puszta, or between Lívia-puszta and Sárszentmihály, or, after reaching safety altitude, continue the task by flying out of the area between Sárszentmihály and Úrhida, keeping the engine power at reduced '0', leaving the settlements.
Only the designated runway may be used for take-off and landing, depending on the wind direction and traffic.
Fixed-wing aircraft can only take off and land from the airport in the following directions: 060-240 degrees.
Aircraft and flying equipment must use the northern traffic circle. For the structure of the traffic circle, see the map annex in Chapter 4.6.
All flight procedures according to SERA 5005, generally as defined for aircraft in Decree 56/2016 (XII.22) NFM.
The traffic circle is 1650 feet AMSL for powered fixed-wing aircraft. For unpowered aircraft and aircraft at altitudes to the nearest level.
At Úrhida Airport Cat. "A" powered aircraft (e.g.: Falke, UL, IS28M2, C150, C152, C172, C182) are allowed to fly training school circuit with sound pressure levels below 85dBA (measured at take-off power).
Only aircraft whose commander has been authorised by the operator to use the aerodrome may use the aerodrome. Only pilots and student pilots who fully meet the required professional requirements may be authorised. The management of the aerodrome shall have the right to check these facts without restriction and shall tolerate such checks.
The operator shall endeavour to keep wild animals out, but their presence cannot be excluded.
For more information, see the Airport Rules.

38.  Noise abatement procedures

The preferred heading for take-off is 240 degrees, even in light tailwinds, and for landing is 060 degrees. Avoid flying over the villages of Úrhida and Sárszentmihály.
The airport is located at such a distance from populated areas that no noise buffer zone has been established to reduce noise from ground operations. Regardless of this, engine operations can only be carried out for the time necessary.
