37.  Local aerodrome regulations

- Airport-specific rules for the use of the airport:
Only VFR flights are allowed. Only VFR flights are permitted. The TV tower in St. Petersburg is located to the north-east of the airport reference point, and the 600-metre-high cylinder with a radius of R=300 metres surrounding it is prohibited airspace.
- Aircraft equipped with a transponder are required to use a transponder. On arrival, the transponder must be operational until landing, even if the flight plan is closed in the air or the code 7000 is set. The code 7000 must be set before take-off.
- OGN, FLARM is recommended.
- Procedures for landing or take-off:
Take-off and landing from the airport by fixed-wing aircraft is possible within the following directional ranges: runway 15 between 120 and 180 degrees and runway 33 between 300 and 350 degrees. Take-off and landing must always be performed into the wind. In low wind speeds (below 2 m/s), take-off and landing in the tailwind is possible after radio consultation with the flight briefing.
- Prohibitions on the use of the airport and aircraft:
Only aircraft whose commander has received permission from the operator or owners and the airport technical manager to use the airport may use the airport.
- Management of wildlife hazards:
The airport and its perimeter is a completely flat area, with large and small wild animals clearly visible visually. The operator will endeavour to keep wild animals away, but their presence cannot be excluded. At the start of operations, during runway patrols, any animals on the runway must be discouraged.
For more information, see the Airport Rules.

38.  Noise abatement procedures

Preferred directions for take-off and landing: 300 -350 degrees and 120 - 180 degrees.
(The minimum altitude above inhabited areas is 300m, 1000ft AGL.) On the ground, the engines of powered aircraft should only be started and operated in justified cases (e.g. engine warm-up, repair or post-maintenance test). As a rule for all powered aircraft, engines should be run only for the time necessary and high-speed operation with high noise should be avoided.
Leaving a powered aircraft unattended is prohibited!
Engine tests on powered aircraft, after taxiing, must be carried out before take-off in accordance with the aircraft operating instructions.

39.  Aerodrome charges

By prior agreement.
