38. Noise abatement procedures
The aircraft commander should consider published noise abatement procedures to minimise aircraft noise, but should ensure that flight safety is the primary consideration over noise abatement.
Aircraft engine and powerplant start-up shall only take place in the area in front of the hangar prior to take-off, and engine/propulsion performance tests may be conducted on the runway prior to aircraft departure.
In order to protect the residential areas against noise, powered and unpowered aircraft and helicopters may use the school runway in the opposite direction to the residential area (Szentkirályszabadja) to reduce noise pollution.
Avoid flying over the main part of the settlement of Szentkirályszabadja and Veszprém.
