37.  Local aerodrome regulations

The airport is a special civil airport not open to public traffic pursuant to Article 37(1)(ba) of the Act, which, except in the cases specified in paragraphs (6) to (7) of Article 41, may be used on the basis of a permit issued by the operator.
You can only use the airport if:
you are familiar with the airport regulations and the flight rules in the airport area, or
- you have received a detailed briefing on this, or
- you have been informed of the local rules before departure.
Landing aircraft, crew and cargo will only be accommodated by special arrangement.
The airport is not responsible for the guarding and protection of foreign or private aircraft.
Without any prior notification, the activity of the aircraft and its crew using the airport is considered an unauthorised use.
(Exceptions are made for state, military, law enforcement, disaster relief aircraft and their personnel in an emergency situation, but only for the purpose of performing the rescue mission. Use for training purposes does not constitute a rescue mission and is not exempted)
VMC minimum:
- 900m AMSL below 5km horizontal visibility with continuous ground visibility,
- Above 900m AMSL 5km horizontal visibility, horizontal distance from clouds 1500m, vertical distance 300m.
- Below 140 Kts IAS speed the horizontal minimum is 1500m. For helicopters 800m.
Traffic, weather or airport information for arriving, departing or transiting aircraft can only be expected for flight operations.
This information is to be provided by the flight operations manager, who does not provide a flight briefing service. In the case of an individual flight, the pilot of the aircraft or flying device conducting the flight shall respond to the radio call. No traffic or other information is expected from the airport during the non-flight period.

38.  Noise abatement procedures

In order to minimise the noise impact on the residential environment as much as possible, flights with powered aircraft or powered assisted flying devices may be conducted in compliance with the following rules:
a) Training flights with powered aircraft may only be conducted on the airport and its traffic circuits until 08:00 LT and until the official sunset at -1 h LT, but not later than 19:00 LT.
b) With a motorized airplane, motorized kite, autogiro, when using the runway 22, the run-off must be made from the threshold of runway 22. After lift-off and acceleration, the first ascending right turn shall be started as soon as possible at a safe height above the paiya in the direction of the second turn, avoiding the premises of the Gas Transport Company.
c) No touch and go tasks shall be performed in direction 22 if the re-elevation and right turn cannot be safely accomplished within the first two thirds of the runway.
d) For aerobatics or work flights over populated areas by powered aircraft or powered utility aircraft, except for mosquito control, OMSZ, or government flights, the recommended altitude is 450m/1500 FT QFE , but not less than 350m/1200 FT QFE and not more than 500m/1700 FT QFE as per the populated area rules and LHDC TIZ2.
