37.  Local aerodrome regulations

The location of Farkashegyi airport means that it is highly frequented by visitors/tourists. The operator tries to keep the visitor traffic on the ground side of the airport by installing a number of safety signs and signposts. Only natural persons or designated persons of other organisations (possibly guests, accompanied) authorised by the operator, the owners of and the airport professional manager, or other organisations, may enter, land and take off the airside of the airport, except for emergency landings. Only those persons who have read and accepted the rules described in the Airport Regulations and the Airport Usage Rules and have signed them may take off from the airport.
For more information, please refer to the current Airport Rules.

38.  Noise abatement procedures

Flights with powered aircraft over the area of Budakeszi, Makkosmária and Nagyszénászug must be avoided for all take-off, landing and overflight traffic not based in Farkashegy.
Aircraft based in Farkashegy must use OGN or FLARM or equivalent equipment during their flights! It is mandatory to register the device using the registration mark.
Motorised aircraft may be launched at the swarming site or 50 metres from the buildings.
For noise protection reasons, the designated place for engine warm-up and engine test is outside the runway next to the Budakeszi side of the BHG hangar. On the Budakeszi side of the hangar, with its “back to Budakeszi”, warming up and engine tests are prohibited for noise protection reasons.
Taxiing is allowed only within the kerb mark, except for movement between the apron and the refuelling and warm-up area. Taxiing must be done at the minimum power required, paying attention to who and what is being blown by the propeller blade.
For more information, see the current Airport Rules.
