The Republic of Hungary is a Contracting Party to the international conventions and multilateral agreements listed below:
- Convention for the Unification of Certain Rules Relating to the Precautionary Attachment of Aircraft (Rome, May 29, 1933.);
- Statutory rule 25 of 1971 on Convention on International Civil Aviation (the Chicago Convention, 1944) and the Act XLVI of 2007 on Convention on the International Civil Aviation;
- International Air Services Transit Agreement (Chicago, 1944);
- Convention on International Recognition of Rights in Aircraft (Geneva 1948);
- Statutory rule 24 of 1971 on Convention on Offences and Certain Other Acts Committed on Board Aircraft (The Tokyo Convention, 1963);
- Statutory rule 8 of 1972 on Convention for the Suppression of Unlawful Seizure of Aircraft. (The Hague Convention, 1970);
- Statutory rule 17 of 1973 on Convention for the Suppression of Unlawful Acts against the Safety of Civil Aviation (The Montreal Convention, 1971);
- Statutory rule 24 of 1987 on Convention for the Suppression of hostage taking (New York 1979);
- EUROCONTROL International Convention relating to Co-operation for the Safety of Air Navigation of 13 Dec 1960 as amended by the amending Protocol of 12 Feb. 1981;
- Multilateral Agreement on Route Charges (Brussels, 1981);
- Multilateral Agreement on Commercial Rights of Non-Scheduled Air Services in Europe. (Paris, 1956);
- International Agreement on the procedure for the establishment of tariffs for intra-European scheduled air services (Paris, 1987);
- Act XCIII of 1997 on European Convention on the Suppression of Terrorism. (Strasbourg, 27 Jan. 1977);
- Act LXVI of 2003 on Convention on the marking of plastic explosives for the purpose of detection (Montreal, 1st March 1991);
- International Convention on Maritime Search and Rescue (SAR), (Hamburg 1979);
- Act XXV of 2002 on International Convention for the Suppression of Terrorist Bombings (New-York, 15 December 1997.);
- Act XXXVII of 2004 on the entry into force of the Protocol for the Suppression of Unlawful Acts of Violence at Airports Serving International Civil Aviation, Supplementary to the Convention for the Suppression of Unlawful Acts Against the Safety of Civil Aviation, done at Montreal on 23 September 1971, signed at Montreal, on 24 February 1988;
- Decision 75/2004 (IX. 8.) of Parliament on the accession to the Convention for the Unification of Certain Rules for International Carriage by Air done at Montreal on 28 May 1999;
- Decision 115/2004. (XI. 10.) of Parliament on the promulgation of the consolidated text of the EUROCONTROL International Convention relating to the cooperation for the Safety of Air Navigation of 13 December 1960, as variously amended, as well as the text of the Protocol on the accession of the European Community to the EUROCONTROL International Convention relating to the cooperation for the Safety of Air Navigation of 13 December 1960, as variously amended and as consolidated by the Protocol of 27 June 1997;
- Act VII of 2005 on Convention for the Unification of Certain Rules for International Carriage by Air, signed at Montreal, on 5th May 1999;
- Decision 1051/2006. (V.19) of Government on the definition of the final text, entry into force and provisional application of the multilateral Agreement among the European Union and it's Member States with the Republic of Albania, Bosnia-Hercegovina, Republic of Bulgaria, Republic of Croatia, Republic of Iceland, Kingdom of Norway, Serbia and Montenegro, Rumania and Kosovo under UN jurisdiction on the establishment of the European Common Airspace;
